INSTRUCTIONS FOR  APPLICATION OF A NEW PREMISE LICENSE 
When  applying for a New premise license:
  - Log into the PPB’s practice  portal through practice.pharmacyboardkenya.org
- Sign in using your registration  or enrollment number and password
- Once logged in, click on New  Facility on the dashboard then fill in the details of the New premise, attach  E-citizen name search of the business and current medical council license if it  is a hospital
- Submit the application and wait  for communication of review process from the Board.
- If approved, follow the  instructions and complete the application as per the premise type applied for  and submit for payment
- Once on the payment page, follow  the instructions on payment and download your receipt after successful  submission of payment
- If approved, the Regional PPB  office will contact the applicant for inspection of the premise
- Final review process will happen  after the inspection.
- 0nce approved, the applicant  should download and print the license for purposes of conspicuously displaying  in the premises
INSTRUCTIONS FOR  RENEWAL OF A PREMISE LICENSE AS A SUPERINTENDENT
When  applying for a license as a superintendent:
  - Log into the PPB’s practice  portal through practice.pharmacyboardkenya.org
- Sign in using your registration  or enrollment number and password
- Once logged in, click on “Renewal”  on the dashboard then “New renewal application”
- Write the name of the premise and  wait for a drop-down list to appear from the database and choose the premise  from the list
- Choose “YES” for superintendent
- If the premise type is Retail or  Wholesale, add the name of the director at the bottom and submit
- If the premise is a Hospital,  attach the current year’s medical council license, add the name of the director  at the bottom and submit for payment
- If the premise is a Manufacturer,  attach the current GMP certificate from PPB, add the name of the director at  the bottom and submit for payment
- Once on the payment page, follow  the instructions on payment and download your receipt and wait for  communication from the Board on the review process.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR  RENEWAL OF A PRACTICE LICENSE AS A NON-SUPERINTENDENT
When  applying for a license as a non-superintendent:
  - Log into the PPB’s practice  portal through practice.pharmacyboardkenya.org
- Sign in using your registration  or enrollment number and password
- Once logged in, click on Renewal  on the dashboard then New renewal application
- Write the name of the premise and  wait for a drop down to appear from the database and choose the premise from  the list
- Choose “NO” for superintendent  and submit for payment
- Once on the payment page, follow  the instructions on payment and download your receipt and wait for  communication from the Board on the review process.
- Note that the superintendent has  to apply first and the premise license approved before any other person can be  approved
INSTRUCTIONS FOR VARATION  OF AN ISSUED LICENSE
When  applying for a variation of an issued license:
  - Log into the PPB’s practice  portal through practice.pharmacyboardkenya.org
- Sign in using your registration  or enrollment number and password
- Once logged in, click on Variation  on the dashboard
- Choose the type of variation from  the drop down, write the reason(s) for variation and attach the appropriate  evidence 
- Submit and pay if payment is  required and wait for communication from the Board on the review process.
